Founder of One Body in Christ Ministries
David, a professional bass angler on the FLW Tour, founded One Body in Christ Ministries in 2002. Although fishing has always been his passion and he has been blessed to successfully make a career out of it, David has carried in his heart the vision for OBIC since he was 19. He has seen God’s desire to bring together the larger Christian Church across denominational lines to worship as a whole, united body. With this in mind David is currently working towards developing a large worship center on his property. While the building is being planned out he has offering his personal home and farm for growing ministries to enrich lives of those in his community! David is a 3 time FLW Angler of the Year and 2003 Championship winner as well as the leading money winner on the FLW Tour for the past 13 years. He also won the 2008 Ultimate Match Fishing series and the 2002 Ranger M1 along with numerous other titles. OBIC Barn Manager
Lizz grew up in rural northern Pennsylvania on a dairy farm where her love for animals and the outdoors started at a young age. Farm life taught her the importance of caring for all God’s creation and instilled the value of a hard work ethic. She always had a love for horses and remembers stuffing dollar bills and coins away in the back of her sock drawer in order to someday fulfill her dream of purchasing her very own horse. At the age of 15 that dream came true. Through the inspiration of summer riding lessons and horse camps, along with the responsibility of her own horse, Lizz desired to increase her knowledge of horses even more by attending Houghton College to pursue a degree in Recreation and Equestrian Studies. Since graduating in 2012, Lizz has worked as a riding instructor and horse trainer at various farms in both Pennsylvania and Virginia. Her favorite experiences were working at Christian ministries where she was able to help bring joy into others lives through both the love of horses and Jesus Christ. Lizz finds that there is no greater fulfillment in life than to provide an opportunity for others to encounter and experience Jesus. She is excited about being able to do that here using the horses at OBIC.
